Jane graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010. She is admitted to practice in Colorado and California.

Prior to joining SFLG, Jane practiced exclusively family law for five years. Her practice focused on valuation and division of high net worth estates, including complex family trusts and professional practices. Jane has represented clients in domestic violence cases, and contentious parenting disputes. She has extensive experience crafting parenting plans for families affected by physical, financial, emotional and substance abuse. Her cases have included international issues in both dissolution and parenting matters, including valuation and division of assets in foreign jurisdictions, and parental kidnapping matters.

During law school, Jane was actively involved in the Family Law Clinic, where she represented clients in a range of family law matters. In the summer of 2008, she worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia where she worked to review policies and procedures used at the Tribunal. While abroad, Jane earned a Certificate from the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. Upon her return, in 2009, she clerked for the Honorable John F. Stavely of the Boulder County Court during her final year of school.

Jane completed her undergraduate work at Northeastern University, graduating summa cum laude in 2006. While attending Northeastern, she worked as a legal assistant at a large commercial litigation firm in Boston, Massachusetts and volunteered at the Samaritans Suicide Prevention Center.

When not in the office, Jane enjoys running, backpacking, painting and practicing yoga.
