This firm cannot ethically represent both parties in a divorce matter. While dual representation may appear to save money and while your matter may appear to be uncontested, no attorney can truly represent both sides to an adversarial proceeding. Even if you and your spouse or partner have reached agreement on all matters, your attorney must be able to advise you as to, among other things, whether certain aspects of your agreement are legally prudent. Accordingly, it is the strict policy of this firm to only represent and advocate on behalf of one party to a divorce.
