Ms. Angell has experience working on local, multi-state and international dissolution and custody matters.

Christina L. Angell is a California Certified Family Law Specialist with 23 years of exclusive experience in family law. Known for her creative problem-solving and client-focused approach, Ms. Angell has built a strong reputation for thinking outside the box, being highly responsive, and paying close attention to the financial and emotional needs of her clients.

She has represented both adults and children across multiple Bay Area jurisdictions, including San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara counties. Her experience spans local, multi-state, and international family law matters, including high-conflict custody disputes, complex financial issues, complicated jurisdictional issues and intricate marital estates.

For over a decade, Ms. Angell also served as court-appointed minor’s counsel in San Francisco and Santa Clara Counties. In this neutral role, she represented children in often contentious custody cases, gaining deep insight into the unique challenges these matters present. Her strategic negotiation skills and solution-oriented mindset have led to positive, balanced outcomes for both parents and children.

Beyond her professional experience, Ms. Angell is the proud co-parent of two adult children and brings personal insight to her work, having successfully navigated her own divorce and co-parenting journey. Her lived experience includes addressing the needs of a neurodiverse (“special needs”) child and support of a child through gender transition, perspectives that inform her empathetic and inclusive approach to family law. She is committed to working with individuals from all backgrounds and is especially mindful of gender, religious, cultural, and LGBTQ+ considerations that can impact family dynamics and legal resolutions.

When she’s not advocating for her clients, Ms. Angell is an avid world traveler with a passion for exploring new cultures and perspectives.
