Open Communication, Cost-Efficient Solutions
Many factors affect the ultimate cost to a client in a family law case, including the complexity of contested issues, the size of the marital estate and the emotional content that invariably drives each party. While it is difficult to predict total case costs, we view ourselves as creative problem solvers. We seek to have consistent and open communication with clients about financial matters throughout their case in an honest and mutually respectful fashion. Our priority is to minimize fees while achieving the best results.
When you become a client of the Schoenberg Family Law Group, P.C., you will be asked to pay a retainer that will vary in amount depending on the complexity of your case. As professional services are provided or costs are incurred on your behalf, funds will be drawn from the retainer account. A statement of services will be forwarded to you each month to keep you fully informed as to the status of your account.
When your case is resolved, any unused portion of the retainer will be returned to you. If the retainer is exhausted before your case concludes, you will need to replenish your account. The amount requested will be based on the current status of your case and an estimate of future services required.
As a courtesy to our clients we now accept online payments:
