Jennie has exclusively practiced family law since her admission to the California State Bar in 2007. She discovered her passion for helping families navigate challenging transitions in their lives while still an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she minored in Legal Studies and spent a semester in Washington D.C. interning with the National Partnership for Women & Families. After college, Jennie continued exploring ways in which the law intersects with family issues by working for the McCullum Youth Court, where first time youth offenders have the opportunity to avoid the juvenile correctional system by participating in a court-room trial run by their peers.
These experiences motivated Jennie to pursue a legal career focused on family law issues. While in law school, she interned with the Family Division of the San Francisco Superior Court, learning the inner workings of the family court. Since graduating law school, and upon admission to the bar in 2007, Jennie has practiced in the family courts of San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa counties, providing advocacy through all stages of the dissolution process, including child custody, spousal and child support, asset division, and domestic violence restraining orders. By always listening to her client’s unique concerns, and staying focused on their personal goals, Jennie provides strong and supportive advocacy through every step of her client’s process.
