Yadhira graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law with a certificate in International Law. She received her bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University, where she double majored in Political Science and Sociology.

She was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2007 and has practiced family law exclusively since January 2008. Yadhira prides herself in delivering professional and compassionate legal representation.  She works closely with clients, counsel, and experts to generate and execute successful legal strategies from commencement of the case to final judgment. Through the years, she has received positive results for hundreds of clients.  She has developed broad experience in family law including preparation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, financial and custody litigation, and domestic violence.

She is regularly appointed by the Court as minor’s counsel to represent children in contested family law actions.  In this role, she has learned to assess litigation from the perspective of the child and developed skills for working with parents to reach agreements that meet their children’s needs.  In 2014, she was honored by the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Family Law Division with the Henry B. Collada Memorial Award for outstanding service as minor’s counsel.

When not advocating for her clients, Yadhira currently volunteers as a pro tem for settlement conferences with the Santa Clara County Superior Court. She has also volunteered with the Santa Clara County Pro Bono Project, prepared and delivered domestic violence presentations through Sacred Heart Community Services, assisted with the Spanish speakers Family Court Orientation, and coached high school mock trial.
