Before entering private practice, Lily gained valuable experience across multiple sectors of the legal field. She clerked for The Honorable Eugene Siler, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit while in law school where she gained invaluable experience in Appellate Court review and hearings, and trial court level conduct, negotiations, and motions.
Lily’s academic achievements reflect her commitment to rigorous legal scholarship. She earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, receiving the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and published several articles. She later completed her LL.M. in Taxation at Queen Mary, University of London in 2009. Her international professional experience includes an internship at a well-known accounting firm in London, and also at a solicitor’s firm located in Temple, London, UK.
Lily grew up in the East Bay and considers the Bay Area her lifelong home. Fluent in Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin, she serves a diverse client base with cultural awareness, sensitivity, and clear communication.
