Svapna Trivedi

Svapna Trivedi is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Few California attorneys hold this certification. It requires substantial trial experience, advanced family law education, peer and judicial review, and a rigorous written exam.

She handles contested custody disputes and the division of complex marital estates involving closely held businesses, professional practices, executive compensation, and sophisticated investment portfolios. Clients rely on her careful financial analysis, thorough preparation, and clear strategy. Opposing counsel know she is fully ready for trial.

She also understands that no one comes to a family law attorney on an easy day. Divorce and custody matters involve a client’s children, home, and sense of security. Ms. Trivedi takes time to listen, explains each option in plain terms, and helps clients make decisions from a place of clarity rather than fear. Her goal goes beyond resolving the immediate dispute. She works to protect her clients’ financial stability and their relationships with their children for years to come.

Her commitment to families began early. At the Alliance for Children’s Rights, she advocated for children’s access to healthcare, and that work still informs how she approaches every custody case. While in law school, she served as an Editor of the Journal of Juvenile Law. She graduated magna cum laude and earned CALI Awards in Healthcare Law & Policy and Administrative Law, a Certificate of Scholarship from the Federal Bar Association (Inland Empire Chapter), and a Key Award for exceptional academic achievement. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Occidental College.

She can resolve a case through negotiation, lead it through mediation, or try it in court. In every case, Ms. Trivedi advises clients honestly about which path best serves their goals and then pursues that path decisively.

A Southern California native raised in Chatsworth, Ms. Trivedi spends her free time practicing hot yoga, biking, reading, and exploring the outdoors. The focus and balance she brings to those pursuits also shape how she guides her clients through some of the most important transitions of their lives.
